There are many ways to get involved as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. All of them begin with contacting our office. Our Volunteer Coordinator, Donna DeHart, would love to hear from you so she can suggest ways you can help that might suit your talents and interests.

Family Selection – Help make the important decisions regarding who will become Habitat homeowners.

Family Support – Help families ease into a life of home ownership by helping families, one-on-one, or by assisting with training classes that impart life skills to families.

Construction – This is what most people think of when they think of helping Habitat for Humanity. Every house is built with mostly volunteer labor. Even if you are not skilled in construction you can lend a hand! You can volunteer as an individual or get a group of your family, friends, co-workers, or organization members together and participate as a team building exercise.

Church Relations – Be the contact for your own faith community or help us reach other churches with the message of Habitat for Humanity.

Other Ways- You might have your own ideas about how you can help us with your skills and interests. Let us know your ideas. Material, financial, or land donations are always welcome and appreciated.
