What is the Cans for Habitat program?
Cans for Habitat raises money to build houses for Habitat for Humanity by encouraging people to recycle their empty aluminum beverage cans. The Cans for Habitat program is organized and funded by the aluminum industry.
Who can participate?
Anyone can participate. It's a simple way for everyone to do their part to participate in Habitat for Humanity's mission to eliminate substandard housing, as well as participate in an effort that is good for both the environment and the community. Although not everyone can help build a home, everyone can lend a hand to the program by recycling cans. We appreciate your donation of your cleaned, crushed aluminum cans!
In Ripley - You will find our collection cottage located in the Municipal parking lot just behind the Post Office.

Please contact us if you have any questions or if you would be interested in setting up a collection bin at your church or office. All supplies are free and we'll come pick up the cans when the bin is full.
